Notes: Mottling visible at moderate-high power.

Edge On Spiral Galaxy

Constellation: Bootes    Magnitude: 12.7    Size: 5.9' x 0.7'    RA: 14h15m34s Dec: +36°13'35"
Notes: Long, thin, and ghostly.

NGC 5544
Spiral Galaxy

Constellation: Bootes    Magnitude: 14.0    Size: 56" x 52"    RA: 14h17m02s Dec: +36°34'16"
Notes: With large aperture you can see the bridge that connects this galaxy to NGC 5545.

Spiral Galaxy

Notes: Spiral structure visible.

NGC 5899
Barred Spiral Galaxy

Constellation: Bootes    Magnitude: 12.5    Size: 2.5' x 1.0'    RA: 15h15m03s Dec: +42°02'59"
Notes: Mottling detected with moderate aperture.

Planetary Nebula

Constellation: Hercules    Magnitude: 13.7     Size: 2.9'    RA: 16h27m33s    Dec: +27°54'33"
Notes: Bright with an OIII.

IC 1185
Spiral Galaxy

Constellation: Hercules   Magnitude: 14.9    Size: 44" x 32"   RA: 16h05m44s Dec: +17°43'00"
Notes: This small triplet of very faint IC galaxies is neat...but for those with a sharp eye!

Planetary Nebula

Constellation: Hercules   Magnitude: 12.0   Size: 5.2"   RA: 17h54m23s   Dec: +27°59'58"
Notes: Very bright unfiltered. Make sure you wear sunglasses when you blink your OIII filter...

Edge On Spiral Galaxy

Notes: Edge on with low surface.
