Elliptical Galaxy

Constellation: Eridanus    Magnitude: 12.7    Size: 2.8' x 1.8'    RA: 04h59m41s Dec: -07°45'22"
Notes: Bright galaxy pair next to Rigel.

 

H 3-75
Planetary Nebula


Constellation: Orion    Magnitude: 13.9    Size: 24"    RA: 05h40m45s Dec: +12°21'23
Notes: Near stellar at low power. Use OIII to blink.


NGC 777
Elliptical
Galaxy

Constellation: Orion    Magnitude: 2.8    Size: 70'    RA: 05h35m06s Dec: +09°56'00"
Notes: Plenty bright but I swear it looks like a one armed and one legged alien...or ET in a shark attack.


NGC 1550
Elliptical Galaxy


Constellation: Taurus    Magnitude:  13.1    Size: 1.9' x 1.7'    RA:  04h19m38s Dec: +02°24'35"
Notes:
Bright core!


NGC 1587
Elliptical Galaxy


Constellation: Taurus    Magnitude: 12.7    Size: 2.0' x 1.6'    RA: 04h30m40s Dec: +00°39'44"
Notes: Interacts with another galaxy.


NGC 2207
Spiral Galaxy


Constellation: Canis Major    Magnitude: 12.2    Size: 4.7' x 2.6'    RA: 06h16m22s    Dec: -21°22'22"
Notes: Very large, low surface

NGC 2350
Lenticular Galaxy

Constellation: Canis Minor    Magnitude: 13.8     Size: 1.4' x 0.7'    RA: 07h13m12s Dec: +12°15'58"
Notes: Bright for it's given magnitude.

 

MCG 3-19-1
Spiral Galaxy

Constellation: Gemini   Magnitude: 13.0   Size: 2' x 1'   RA: 07h08m01s   Dec: +15°10'45"
Notes: Faint, averted vision object.


NGC 2435
Spiral Galaxy

Constellation: Gemini    Magnitude: 13.6    Size: 2.2' x 0.5'    RA: 07h44m13s Dec: +31°39'01"
Notes: Very high surface brightness.



NGC 2185
Reflection Nebula


Constellation: Monoceros    Magnitude:         Size: 4.5' x 2.0'    RA: 06h11m00s Dec: -06°14'00"
Notes: Bright and beautiful! Some wispy-ness detail detected.
