Notes: Stellar at low power. Responds well with filters. Surface detail at high magnification.

NGC 71
Interacting Galaxy

Constellation: Andromeda    Magnitude: 14.2    Size: 1.8' x 1.4'    RA: 00h18m23s Dec: +30°03'48"
Notes: Fascinating interacting trio of galaxies. Look for NGC 72 hanging in the FOV with them.

Planetary Nebula

Constellation: Andromeda    Magnitude:  13.9    Size: 4.6"    RA: 23h22m58s Dec: +46°53'56"
Notes: Small bright disk. Responds well to an OIII.

MCG 5-55-38
Spiral Galaxy

Constellation: Pegasus    Magnitude: 13.6    Size: 1.3' x 0.8'    RA: 23h33m49s Dec: +30°03'37"
Notes: Bright with surface irregularity with large aperture.

Planetary Nebula

Constellation: Pegasus    Magnitude: 15.1    Size: 5.3'    RA: 23h35m53s Dec: +30°28'06"
Notes: Very faint and diffused with annularity.

Sh 2-157
Emission Nebula

Constellation: Cassiopeia    Magnitude:           Size: 60'    RA: 23h16m06s Dec: +60°02'00"
Notes: Beautiful arc of nebulosity. Responds well to nebula filters.
 

NGC 383
Interacting Galaxy

Constellation: Pisces    Magnitude: 13.1    Size: 2.3' x 1.9'    RA: 01h07m24s Dec: +32°24'42"
Notes: Bright, sits in a beautiful string of galaxies.

IC 187
Edge On Galaxy

Constellation: Triangulum    Magnitude: 13.7    Size: 2.2' x 0.7'    RA: 02h01m30s Dec: +26°28'53"
Notes: Small edge on galaxy.


NGC 783
Spiral Galaxy

Constellation: Triangulum    Magnitude: 13.1    Size: 1.4' x 0.9'    RA: 02h01m06s Dec: +31°53'00"
Notes: Spiral structure is detectable in moderate aperture.

IC 1613
Dwarf Irregular Galaxy

Constellation: Cetus    Magnitude: 10.1    Size: 15.5' x 13.8'    RA: 01h04m54s Dec: +02°08'00"
Notes: Very large and extremely faint. Use large aperture and the widest FOV possible.
